Dusk at the Fair...

    

     Not too crowded

     the peaks of tents and flying flags draw our attention...

       
    Along with the unique scene of three crosses, two ponies and a bandstand ....

                                                             

                                                       with a sweetly smiling donkey.
                                      

    Inside, there is eating,

                Outside, spinning on wheels

                                and watermelons -
                  

     high stepping dancers entertain the crowds,

the chairs sit it out

the flags wave.

      An endless fascination,
                                               and sweetness.                   

           

           For me, there is something inscrutable, something other, old and mysterious,
                                as if there's a secret they're not telling.  Good for them.
