The sliced tree is beautiful- Giant buttons could be made (?) Cedar is such a versatile wood to make art with- NOT wooden spoons or bowls however, as I found out, It is toxic. I carved a beautiful wooden spoon for my mother when I was young- she was a good sport and hung it on the wall...
Gee, thanks for letting me know, I had been talking with a friend about possibilities, such as a carving board or bowl! I like the idea of GIANT buttons a lot, and, so simple, just drill two holes!!
