Holiday Train Show, at the New York Botanical Garden...

Under the glass bubble dome of the main conservatory  

 

                      miniature trains race -
 

                                                            wending their way

                                                                         past Grand Central Station

                                   

                                                                                          Rockefeller Center

           the Chrysler Building.                                    

                                                                                

                                              A fantasy city constructed of sticks and bark, seeds and pods.

                      We look up                                   

                                                                      and down,

                                                             fascinated -

                 and protected from the cold blast outside.

                      The NYBG Holiday Train Show is an annual tradition, this year running
                      Nov. 19th thru Jan 16th 2017.
