Ben Franklin and the Gingkos -

      No not a rock band, but certainly concerning stones -

 
                  the historic graveyard on Christ Church Burial Ground in the heart of Philadelphia.

                  Tourists stop by on Second Street - to visit Ben.

                Once inside the gates, there's a mystery and a peace in these tattered stones ...

                Here and there, a flag flickers...
  
                                 Four signers of the Declaration of Independence are also buried here.
.

                                                                 Among the urns and the slabs....

                                                 it's almost like standing in an Edward Gorey cartoon.

  2. So much history and color. We have an old graveyard here with a table slab and I always think of it as Aslan's table from Narnia.
